The famous egg wall

In the trendy Fortitude Valley, this lovely and quirky hotel had an entire renovation when the Ovolo Group took it over, and we completed the installation of a huge amount of stunning wallpaper throughout.

The highly original curved, custom designed and custom made ‘egg’ wall in reception features a suede effect wallpaper. We applied the wallpaper to individual timber panels which were then installed to the wall, before the silver eggs were pierced in randomly. A truly unique feature wall.

Rooms by Florence Broadhurst

All the rooms had either the green or the gold colourway of the floral feature wall, a Florence Broadhurst design from Materialised, with a beautiful silver vinyl wallcovering running through the remainder of reception.

Then you have the rock star rooms: vibrant purple wallpaper feature walls with a distinct mid century modern vibe, also from Materialised, whose wonderful collection can be ordered through us.

The Za Za Ta jungle mural

We also installed a jungle inspired mural in the Za Za Ta restaurant on the ground floor. This fun wallpaper by Kingdom Homes is a custom design that makes the restaurant bright and vibrant. How could you sit in this restaurant and not feel happy?
